Focus of the Imagineer

The Imagineer is an intellectual quarterly publication which primarily seeks to discuss world and social issues but also combines literary and artistic elements to provide its readership with a well-rounded magazine. Every issue features interviews and articles by scholars and activists who are at the forefront of their respective fields.

About the Imagineers

Co-founders Brentoni Gainer-Salim and Alexander D. Farris met as German students at Frankenmuth High School. Originally focused on music, their partnership was formed as the band Enigmatique Imagineers in 2007. In addition to the musical aspect, the Imagineer legacy has grown to include both Imagineer magazine and the Imagineer Foundation. By combining music, journalism, and philanthropy; the Imagineer Triumvirate, as they jokingly title it, works to promote global understanding in a variety of ways, both analytical and creative.

Both co-founders are currently pursuing their educational goals and dreams. After studying at the Gymnasium Carolinum in Osnabrück, Germany through the Rotary Youth Exchange program during the 2009-2010 academic year, Alex will attend the University of Chicago starting with the 2010-2011 academic year. Meanwhile, Brent is continuing his college studies at the American University of Paris in Paris, France. The magazine continues to operate from Frankenmuth, Michigan during their absence under U.S. Operations Manager C. James Block.
